Nadav Nishri, founder of Nishri Mediators, is one of the leading and groundbreaking mediators in the modern world of mediation. Nadav is 44 years old, he is the father of two daughters (Dafna and Naama) and is married in chapter two to Noga, who also works with him in the mediation office. Nadav holds a bachelor’s degree in law and a master’s degree in conflict resolution and has written 3 non-fiction books in the field of mediation (Divorce in Peace, New Partnership and Mediation as a Martial Art, which will be published in the coming months).

For more than ten years, Nadav has been working to promote awareness of mediation among the general public, training mediators using the work method he developed – “New Partnership” and mainly helping parties in dispute resolve their disputes through mediation and dialogue. Nadav’s expertise is to turn great crises into great opportunities. Over the years, together with his team of mediators, he has accompanied thousands of people in complex mediation processes. Processes that began with great difficulties and were resolved in ways that enabled the parties to maintain and even improve their relationships.

Nadav came from an immigrant family whose roots reach to Brazil, Ukraine, Georgia, Bulgaria, Israel and Poland. The ethnic diversity in which Nadav grew up, together with his unique life story (among other things, Nadav left his parents’ home at a young age and lived on the shores of the Sea of Galilee during his high school years), led Nadav to the world of mediation, where he found fertile ground for creativity, growth and fulfillment of dreams.

Nadav has always worked to bring hearts together, even in high school when he took part in seminars of dialogue between religious and secular people, and through his 20s when he owned leading performance clubs in Tel Aviv (Ha Pan and Kultura) where he hosted cultural events to promote dialogue and dialogue, such as a festival without slogans that brought together musicians from settlements with the Tel Aviv audience, the Tel Aviv Culture Conference that gathered the world’s top cultural leaders in panels that discussed the world of culture and its impact on society, and hundreds of other unique events that he produced over the years.

Nadav was first exposed to the world of mediation while studying law. At that time, Nadav was looking for his way in the professional world and thought that a law degree would help him find a direction. While studying law, Nadav became familiar with the world of mediation and realized that he had found what he was looking for. He dove into the world of mediation, read everything that came into his hands and began to explore the world of mediation in depth. Nadav’s research was accompanied by a great deal of practical work in the mediation rooms that Nadav opened throughout the country. While gaining extensive practical experience in the mediation room, Nadav continued to promote awareness of mediation and its many advantages, and as his firm grew, he also began to train mediators in the mediation room. The practicum course in divorce mediation built by Nadav is the only course in Israel today and one of the only ones in the world that allows mediators to enter the mediation room and actually mediate in real mediation.

During 2019, Nadav realized that the best way to deal with division and radicalization in the world was to teach the basics of mediation to as many people as possible. Nadav’s belief is that the more people who speak the mediation language, the better we will all live in a better world. A world in which people resolve disputes through dialogue rather than violence or legal discourse. This belief became Nadav’s life’s mission and he began to act in creative ways to promote it. The first step was to deliver a basic mediation course on Zoom for free to anyone interested and then allow anyone who wanted to receive mediation tools to watch the recorded course as well. The course was watched by thousands of people and was a great success.

In 2023, Nadav decided to take the course one step further and produced a professional and abbreviated course explaining the “New Partnership” mediation method that he developed out of thousands of hours of practical mediation. The goal of the course, which is currently being launched in several languages using artificial intelligence, is to expose more and more people to the world of mediation and to a new partnership method in particular.

Over the years, Nadav has opened dozens of branches of the firm “Nishri Mediators” in Israel. The next stage in the company’s development and in realizing Nadav’s vision is opening additional branches in major cities around the world and spreading the method in other countries where the public can use mediators to resolve disputes in a variety of mediation areas.

Nishri Mediators currently employs a team of experienced mediators and mediators operating under the management of Nadav and Noga. All the mediators in the team have undergone a long and comprehensive internship with Nadav and have extensive experience in complex mediation processes.
